Things People Have Said About Me
It occurred to me recently that I should probably have a specific place where I keep all of the nice things people have said about me over the years - at work, during school, and moving forward. So this is a little bit my "personal references" page. Everything here has been said either in public or in some official capacity that can be referenced (notes on my marks for my instructors, for instance).
I'll add to this page as people continue to say things about me.

“I have worked with Kristoffer for five years and can confidently state that Kristoffer is the embodiment of earning customer trust.”
Yvonne
"Kristoffer is a fantastic writer and essayist, but is also very good at visual and thematic analysis, and knows how to combine art history and intellectual history. He’s able to track a trope or a theme through centuries with ease, boding well for future work in any form of narrative art."
"Kristoffer’s entire writing performance... was a tour de force, with witty, brilliantly written casual writing assignments worthy of publication, and a graduate level final research paper. Kristoffer’s dry wit is actually hilarious, if somewhat dark and satirical, and I always end up laughing aloud when reading his short, casual pieces. (There is a self-depreciating, ironic, British flavor to it, to which I’m particularly susceptible.) When applied to the (often) weighty issues, political concerns and revolutionary social ideas of art history, such humor is a welcome revelation."

"His participation in class discussions was shallow and limited."
Jan
“I think if you were a vehicle you'd have to be a 4-wheel-drive mudder because cruising down the highway with the top down just doesn't seem to be your style.”
Rafet
“Over the last few years… I have to say that Kristoffer Hansen has been dismissive, mean, arrogant, and very difficult to work with.”
Dennie
"You are very encouraging. I've never considered writing comics myself, but I remember a conversation with you encouraging me to write something because you were convinced I had an interesting story to tell."
Steph
"You have opened my eyes and been supportive of me as I explore (some personal biz). You have created a woman-friendly and queer-friendly gaming space at Warp One, which has helped me to explore more of my curiosity about gaming."
Fayth
"I knew that no matter what kind of day I had at the airport, I would be greeted with a smile, a hug and at least half an hour of someone making things seem just a little more normal. You helped encourage me when I couldn't walk after the car accident, and gave me the drive to go a little further each time I tried."
Ferren
"Yeah, he sat behind the Magic counter and made sarcastic jabs at me for roughly half the time I knew him. I think he also wrote a love letter to my wife that put my 2-bit poetry to shame. You should probably only hire him if you're completely secure in your marriage and with yourself."
